hi! i'm koi, i'm a graphic designer, and i love to make carrds. i do work as a freelance designer outside of tumblr, so my schedules and turnaround times can vary, however: i do always try my best to keep everyone updated, and i usually take about 2-3 weeks depending on the layout of the carrd itself. please read all the information below. i know it's a lot, but i try to make the process as streamlined as possible so there's less confusion on everyone's ends.

i require payment up front! i am a graphic designer outside of tumblr, and i find it is the easiest/best situation for both parties. this is non-negotiable. i accept cashapp, venmo, and paypal, but if you'd like to use a different form of payment please let me know.

i do not accept commissions from dead dove blogs. if you actively write incest, rape / non-con, abuse, age up muses for smut, etc, please do not send in a form.

if you would like a specific psd used, it must be yours, or you must show explicit proof of permission from the creator to use in the commission. if you would like me to input text for you and format it, note that i need text to input to begin with! i do not outline dossiers, write out rules for you, etc. lastly, please note that if you do not have carrd pro, i am limited to how graphic heavy i can be in the carrd, as i am limited to 100 elements in that circumstance.

re: multi-muse carrds, please keep in mind that if you would like a carrd template with photos of each muse for your carrd, i will do 10 photos (one for each muse) before it will be an additional charge due to the amount of formatting it adds on. i also standardly only provide 4-5 pages with each carrd, so please keep this in mind!

my carrds are entirely made from scratch. i do not use templates, and every carrd i make is different and usually cannot be replicated to an exact. i will not replicate or take other creator's carrds, gifs, or graphics. style/general aesthetics are fine to take inspiration from, but stealing from another creator is not on my agenda, and nor should it be on yours.

things to have on hand before commissioning:

  • pages you want: i default to a home page, a rules page, a dossier page, a verses page, and a mains page, but i do love to know from you which pages are important to you and if you want pages replaced, changed, or taken out.

  • a color palette: having about 2-5 complimentary colors are extremely helpful. even if you only have one primary color, having shades of that color ready to go is incredibly helpful!

  • a pinterest board: even if it's unsorted, this is no big deal! i'm using a psd, so the original colors won't matter. pinterest just helps me pull everything from one solid place

  • google drive/dropbox folder(s): if you have specific (and especially high quality) images that you'd want used for your carrd, i highly recommend using this!

frequently asked questions.

why do you only accept payment up front? i do freelance graphic design in real life, and i have found that for all parties involved, it is the easiest route! i have to protect myself first and foremost, and if this isn't something you're comfortable with, i completely understand — but it is non-negotiable on my end.

what payment forms do you accept? i accept cashapp, venmo, paypal, and ko-fi! if none of these are viable options, let me know!

do you do other kinds of commissions other than carrds? i do, but at the moment i only offer package deals, which are listed on my menu!

is carrd pro necessary? inot necessary, but for the types of carrds i tend to do, it helps a lot in being able to not be as limited. if you have a lot of information, or want your carrd to be graphic heavy, i'd highly suggest it. carrd pro's cheapest deal is $9 a year, and, in my opinion, it's extremely worth it. if you do end up purchasing carrd pro, please use my referral code!

where do i credit you? how you credit me is entirely up to you! just as long as it's somewhere, it's all good with me!

how long does it take for a commission to be finished? it can vary! sometimes it takes me a few days, sometimes it takes me a few weeks. standardly, i estimate about 2 or 3 weeks. either way, i do provide my discord to communicate through, and i keep everyone updated as much as i can!

i really like this person's carrd, can you make me something like it? nothing will ever be replicated to an exact. however, the best thing to think about here is exactly what you enjoy about this carrd: is it the color scheme, the design style, the structure / flow of the pages themselves? those are the things that are best for me to look at in how i can make you something that is made specifically for you!

i have a psd that i've had for a really long time, and i don't think this psd's creator is online anymore / accessible / etc. can you use it? personally, i do not feel comfortable using anyone's creations without permission from them, even if they are offline now. i have plenty of psds that i have made myself that i can shift or adjust to be similar, but i will not be using any psds from other creators without proof of permission provided.

i have a multi-muse blog, and i want photos of my characters to go along with my muse list! is this something that you do? depending on how long the list is, yes! if your muse list is 10 muses or under, i am happy to provide small graphics to go along with them. however, anything above that will be an extra charge.
